| ...seem tae have had a wee bit o' a transporter malfunction, Captain.
... ... ...
Captain? | |
|
| First off, Captain, did ye know that Mr. Spock, Lt. Uhura, and Ensign Chekov's portraits have appeared in the Hall o' th' Missin', Sir?
Donna, ye continue t' fascinate me, love. When can I see ye again?
|
| Always, this place is rife wi' th' comin' an' th' goin', aye? I've noticed a few new faces 'round the Network. As much as we're all trapped, I'd like tae welcome ye. If ye ignore th' indecencies we're subjected tae ev'ry now an' again, it's really no' sae bad. Fer those o' ye what're new, my name is Montgomery Scott. Me friends call me Scotty. 'Tis a pleasure. | Donna, I had a wonderful time! We should dae it again, aye?
So, lads (an' lassie, of course, Lieutenant), how are ye all enjoyin' her vacation?
Captain?
[ooc: 4th wall him to your heart's content, guys!]

| Startin' taeday, the crew o' the U.S.S. Enterprise have five days to ourselves. I dinnae remember havin' this much time tae meself in some time, an' as much as I'd like tae spend it tryin' tae find a reasonable substitute fer dilithium, which I still need by th' way, I think it'd be foolish tae pass up the oportunity tae jus' relax fer a bit.
bearin' tha' in mind, Doctor, I believe we had plans tae visit th' pub?
...and does anybody have any suggestions for...leisure activities here? I've been fairly busy since my arrival an' I havenae had much chance tae go explorin'.
|
| ( Private to Kirk // Unhackable )Tae those investigatin' th' transporter in town, I havenae forgotten. I'm certain ye all ken th' weekend past and th' distractions it caused. I'd like tae schedule fer Saturday, if it fits wi' ye. If no', please let me know. | |
|
| Have ye all gotten all th' buggery right an' out o' yer systems? Honestly, ye'd think th' lot o' ye were animals wi' no control o'er yerselves.
Is everyone alright?
Anyway, as th' attempt of a certain project o' mine nears, I realize I require th' assistance of a magic user. I know, it sounds odd, but much tae my own dissappointment, I think a lot o' this place is run by magic. That bein' said, is there anyone who'd like tae help me? Preferably someone wi' extensive knowledge of magic in general, as well as the magic o' this City.
If yer interested, please let me know.
EDIT: If any o' you lassies as was held in the shuttlecraft fer safe-keeping yesterday sae much as damaged one sub-cell, I'll be holdin' ye personally responsible.

| ( Chief Engineer's Log // Viewable to Enterprise Crew )Ms. Noble, yer recommendations for both the hardened diamond casing and the improvised anti-matter injection system are blazing successes! Were ye a member o' my staff, I'd recommend ye for commendation, lass. Mr. Chekov, we are te examine the transporter system of this city. We need tae get on tha', lad. William Bordan, if I may ha' a word wi' ye, lad. Also, it's come tae my attention these...transporters may be powered by magic, so if any of ye are interested in helpin' us research them, the magically inclined mind ye, please, step forward. | |
|
| I've noticed this device is rather handy for mass transmissions, so I was wonderin' if any o' the citizens of the City had come across a dog within say the last seven months or so that looks quite a bit like this: He was, er, lost durin' a rather tragic transporter miscalculation, an' the very nature o' this place leads me tae believe he may ha' ended up here. His return would be most appreciated. [ooc: I have to run off to work for a few hours (okay, like 8 1/2) but I'll be back to tag more later!] | |
